The Author

auChristine Burton, a native of Southeastern Wisconsin, earned degrees in Business Management, Paralegal, and Doctorate of Naturopathy while holding careers in the medical, legal, K12 paraprofessional, and food service fields.

Formerly, as a teen herself, Burton worked as a cook for a supper club/catering service.  Coming from a large family, as well as working with students in K12 schools, Burton found students having the need to contribute to cooking and baking in their own homes.  Students of all ages have learned to cook and bake in Burton’s home and at classes held outside her home; allowing them to expand their culinary knowledge and create new recipes.

Burton’s unique and creative cookbook has 200 base recipes that can be used as is, or be transformed into the users’ flavor profiles by interchanging the ingredients with their own cultural food influences.  The recipe book pages have space allotted for users to jot down any changes they make to the recipes for future reference.

Taste as you cook/bake—be adventurous and try new flavors.
